Mission Statement

The focus of the Early Childhood Program is to enhance the language, intellectual, physical and social/emotional development of each child.

We believe Early Childhood Special Education will have a positive effect on future school performance and may reduce the likelihood or degree of future special education intervention.

We believe in a positive learning environment which attempts to meet the children's physical and social/emotional needs. Based on each child's developmental level, instruction will be provided to meet their individual needs.

We believe in a multi-disciplinary team approach which includes parents and staff actively working together to meet each child's individual and varied needs. A positive working relationship and communication between all team members is essential.

We believe in protecting the child's and parent's legal rights by following current laws specific to Early Childhood Special Education.
