How may we help?
Our goal is to help students with emotional / social, career, and academic needs

1.  Individual Counseling
Contact your child’s counselor if your child has specific needs in which we should be aware.
2.  Group Counseling
Groups help students deal with issues such as Grief and Loss, Self Esteem, and other issues in a small group setting.  Call your child’s counselor if you would like your child in a group.
3.  Conflict Resolution
Counselors are available to perform mediations for students experiencing conflict.
4.  Teacher/Student Assistance Team
Teachers, counselors, and parents work together to help students who are struggling.
5.  Liaison between Community Agencies and BCMS  Contact your child’s counselor for information about many agencies in Boone County.
6.  Transition Counseling
Transitions students between Elementary/Middle School and Middle/High School.
7.  ISAT and Explore Tests
6th grade-ISAT

9.  Student/Staff Mentoring Program
Mentors are adult role models who meet with your child on a regular basis.  Contact your child’s counselor if you’d like your child to have a BCMS mentor.
